SJ 03 - Perspectives

SJ 03a
In this assignment, we were asked to draw several perspectives in our very own Taylor's University.
The task were to draw out the plan of our university, 3 types of perspectives, and 2 details.

3.1 University Plan
This is a general plan view of the whole campus ground. I chosen 3 sites for my perspective drawing that are located at Block C, Block D, and Block E.

3.2 Small stream
This is a 1 point perspective view of a place in campus ground. The strokes in the previous assignment is applied in this picture and the great effects of scribbling gives the rocks a nice texture.

3.3 Plants
The plants in the small streams are the minor details in the whole area. These plants are placed near the water in a way that gives life to the emptiness of the rocky area.

3.4 The Norwegian Sandwich Co.
This picture is a 2 point perspective view. As you can see, the middle part of the picture is more solid while it diminishes at both left and right ends.

3.5 Tables and Chairs
The tables and chairs are the most observable details in the Norwegian Sandwich place. The striking red colour of the chairs makes us emphasize on the chairs more than the tables.

3.6 Block E stairs
This 3 point perspective view picture is taken in Block E. 3 point perspectives can be anywhere and can be drawn very easily as we must make the sides and also top/bottom parts to deminish as it goes further.

SJ 03b
In todays lecture, we were asked to draw 2 images within a short period of time.
These are the outcomes of my drawings.

3.7 Exterior of building

3.8 Interior of building

Then, our lecturer (Ms. Delliya) explained to us about perspective views and how to draw them.
After the short lecture, we were asked to draw new images.

3.9 One perspective view

3.10 An object in a 2 perspective view

3.11 A large space
